Township of Centre Wellington - December 10, 2025

The Ombudsman found that council for the Township of Centre Wellington did not contravene the Municipal Act, 2001 during its closed meeting on June 16, 2025. The Ombudsman was satisfied that council’s discussion fit within the exception for advice subject to solicitor-client privilege, as council received information and legal advice from the municipality’s solicitor.
