Overview

The need for timely and accurate identification documents, licences and permits brings Ontarians in contact with government services every day. Our staff routinely help Ontarians resolve the delays, customer service problems and bureaucratic barriers they encounter in obtaining important documents through these agencies, from birth certificates to death certificates.

The chief sources of complaints in this area are ServiceOntario and the Registrar General.

Please note: This category deals with complaints about all types of identification documents and permits except those related to driving – those cases can be found in our Transportation section.
